Jean-Joseph-Xavier Bidauld was a French Neo-Classical landscape painter. He studied in Paris and Geneva as well as in Italy, and began to exhibit in the Salons in 1791. Bidauld received commissions from Charles IV of Spain, among many others, and his work was admired by Corot.
