Giuseppe Cades was an 18th century Italian painter. He was greatly admired for his drawings and created beautiful compositions in red and black chalk, pastels, pen and watercolor. He supported himself as a young man with his drawings alone. He traveled to Rome and created many finished and highly regarded drawings there as well.
