Lorenz Janscha was an 18th century painter who was born in Slovenia and spent most of his life in Austria . He studied at the Viennese Fine Art Academy under one of the masters of landscape painting, Johann Christian Brand. He was known for painting Austrian and Czech landscapes as well as historical scenes.
