Kitty Kielland was a 19th century Norwegian Realist painter. Born in Stavanger, Norway, Kielland began studying art in Karlsruhe in her thirties. She became friends with fellow Norwegian artist Harriet Backer when she traveled and trained in Munich and Paris.

Kielland is best known for her realist paintings of the Jaeren, a coastal region in Norway. She was also the sister of well known Norwegian author, Alexander Keilland.
